Trainer Wesley Ward, 24% second time out, has had her working steadily at Keeneland and is sending her a longer distance (25%). He gives her a rider upgrade to Irad Ortiz Jr and I like this filly's chances.
2nd pick: #9 (Love of My Heart) (7-2) - Away slowly when debuting in a Saratoga sprint Aug. 9, she rallied to finish fourth of 10, beaten 5 lengths. It was a good first attempt and trainer Mark Casse, 18% second time out has worked her five times at Belmont since Sept. 22. She's bred to like this longer trip and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Jazzy Lady) (4-1) - Daughter of 'Cairo Prince' over-came a poor start with a strong rally that saw her miss by a 1/2 length debuting here at a mile Sept. 19. Trainer Ray Handal is having a fine meet 28-5-4-4 and this filly is an obvious contender.
4th pick: #5 (Be Magic) (15-1) - Logshot switches to the grass and is stretching out in distance. She's raced evenly in both dirt sprints and may get a minor award at a big price.
