One-run type has finished second in four of six starts on the Belmont turf and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Arctic Storm Cat) (2-1) - No-speed type is shortening up in distance after missing by just under a length at this level going 9 furlongs Oct 5. Lightly-raced and improving, he's an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #8 (Silky Way) (6-1) - Longshot has the best early speed and is racing with blinkers off. Well bred 3-year-old is in a very hot barn (Bill Mott) and enters off a solid half-mile breeze here Oct. 15. Son of 'Malibu Moon' can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #7 (Morning Daddy) (8-1) - Another longshot, he's cutting back in distance in his third start back from a 3.5 month layoff. He's finished well behind 'Arctic Storm Cat' in his last pair so a minor award would appear to be his ceiling.
