Top pick: #9 (COURT OF DREAMS) - She's run well in her last pair and has done so despite having difficult outside posts in each. State-bred draws a bit better and will take a slight drop in price. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Little Red Rider) - Mare has been sharp in all three on the grass since coming back from a 13 month layoff in June. One-run type takes the same drop as "Dreams" and has a very fast local work on Oct. 6 heading into this attempt. Dangerous rival.
3rd pick: #5 (Bakin With Cindy) - 3-year-old exits the same Sept. 12 race as "Rider" and she was 4 back of that foe while attempting a wide rally. Dangerous barn (Rudy Rodriguez) seems to be racing her back into shape and sophomore can factor at a square price.
4th pick: #7 (Skips Prospect) - Grey daughter of "Skip Away" has been racing edvenly for some time now but comes off her best from a "figure" standpoint since July of 2011. In the barn of Linda Rice and this confirmed closer would benefit the most by a fast/and or contested pace.
