Top pick: #5 (DYKER BEACH) (4-1) - One of two entered by trainer Dave Jacobson and the pair race uncoupled. Consistent sort is dropping down a bit in class, cutting back a furlong, and has blinkers added. He's finished second in five of seven on wet tracks and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Non Stop) (7-2) - Veteran gelding was an easy winner here for a $25K tag on Sept. 26. It was his best overall since Feb. 1 and 6-year-old was claimed that afternoon by Gary Contessa. Trainer is having a strong meet and this runner has gone 3-1-1-1 on wet going in the past.
3rd pick: #4 (Broad Rule) (6-1) - Old timer finished a close up third here facing a bit better on Sept. 14 in his first off a claim and first ever at Belmont. A stakes winner in the past, he should factor at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Bowman's Beast) (5-2) - Speedy 5-year-old ships up from Philly Park where he set a quick pace and tired late going a bit longer. Has the rail, is in a winning barn (Patty Farro), and it's noted that Castellano is aboard.
