Solid effort came after breaking from the outside post and filly draws much better for this attempt.
2nd pick: #7 (Jessica's Ride) (6-1) - Speedy filly is racing third back from almost a nine month layoff. She's been sharp in both return starts and was only a length behind 'Splendid Gold' last out after setting a quick pace. Win candidate, she'll be in this from gate-to-wire.
3rd pick: #8 (Super City) (15-1) - Long shot was within range of both 'Splendid Gold' and 'Jessica's Ride' last out. She hit the gate at the break, then had some serious traffic issues once away. No-speed type should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
4th pick: #2 (Sanfiera) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, mare is nearing her seventh birthday and did not start until this past August at Saratoga. Speed/stalker defeated 'Splendid Gold' in her debut, but then ran both wide and evenly in her latest. An obvious threat, but she holds no real advantage at a short price.
