Top pick: #10 (JABULANI) - The probable favorite has been on the sidelines since July 11 when this gelding finished third at Delaware Park. Three-year-old by "Speightstown" is woking steadily for this and should have no problem with this 9-furlong trip. Trainer Barclay Tagg drops him into a career soft spot and Dominguez is signed-on for this. Lots of positives, and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Dynamite Dude) - Price play has the inside post and trainer Dave Duggan will drop him down to a new low in price. Gelding by "Dynaformer" has been racing evenly facing tougher and can fator at a nice price on the drop.
3rd pick: #8 (Dodging) - Moves back to the turf where he was competitive in a pair at Saratoga facing a bit better. Throw out his latest (on a sloppy main track) and the move back to the infield makes him dangerous.
4th pick: #2 (Dr. Kenney) - Monmouth invader has been idle since finishing fourth there running for $40K on July 17. Capable of getting a slice of this with his best.
