Top pick: #13 (LAYLABEN) - The field's only main-track only entrant finished a pace-chasing fourth after breaking slowly and having to be "rushed-up." Nice local drill and she'll meet a pretty weak group if as expected this race is run on the dirt.
2nd pick: #7 (Tom and Dick's Girl) - She's in shape and has some good tries on wet tracks earlier in her career. Makes her third start back off a long layoff and is a strong win contender.
3rd pick: #1 (Cody Samora) - First-timer by Mayakovsky is in a barn (John Morrison) that's always better than it's record. Drills are solid and the latest one is very good and it came on this surface.
4th pick: #6 (Viva La Gata) - Sophomore daughter of "Catienus" may stay in if the race is switched. She made up some ground in her debut at Saratoga on the turf and has worked on the dirt three times since. Can make an impact if she runs.
