Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (EIGHTY SEVEN NORTH) (2-1) - Filly has been competitive in two straight at this level. She rallied to finish second Aug. 1 at Saratoga going 8.5 furlongs, then so again there at a mile Aug. 29. She runs first off a Dave Donk claim and this daughter of 'Quality Road' should love today's 9-furlong trip.
2nd pick: #9 (Tarallucci) (6-1) - A lightly race daughter of 'Lemon Drop Kid', she moves back to the turf while stretching out in distance in her first following a claim by Ray Handal. She was competitive here sprinting on the grass at this level May 27, is bred for this longer distance, and think she's a serious late factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #4 (Big Expense) (9-2) - A long time maiden, 4yo has been competitive in three of her last four at this level, the latest saw her finish fourth of 11, beaten 2 lengths here going a mile Sept. 12. She has a speed/stalking style and should be involved every step.
4th pick: #3 (Paradiso) (10-1) - Longshot is lightly raced, has early speed, and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. A home bred filly by 'Artie Schiller', believe she's set for a good effort at a big price.
