Trainer Jay Servis has excellent numbers in all the relevant categories and I give this 4yo a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Surface Strike) (3-1) - Another with good early speed, 5yo tired to finish second at this level and distance going 7 furlongs April 17 at Aqueduct. Owner/trainer Michelle Nevin has worked him four times at Saratoga during this month and this son of 'Smart Strike' is dangerous.
3rd pick: #5 (Prenatural) (5-2) - Lightly raced and well bred, he was a winner by 10 lengths going 7 furlongs at Aqueduct April 17 for his maiden score. It was his first start since Aug. 4 at Saratoga when he was claimed for $40K by Rudy Rodriguez. A 4yo son of 'Ghostzapper', he must be left in the win mix.
4th pick: #3 (Our American Star) (15-1) - Longshot raced evenly last out against $16K open' claimers and veteran is capable of getting a minor award at a big price.
