Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (SURFACE STRIKE) (3-1) - This well bred 4yo is working fast here for his first since April 11. Son of 'Smart Strike' raced evenly last out when finishing 3rd at this level going 6.5 furlongs at Aqueduct. Trainer Bill Mott adds blinkers to this Broman home bred, and colt gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Suas) (2-1) - Gulfstream shipper dueled for the lead and tired late to check in a close up 4th when debuting there at this trip facing 'open' special weight foes March 24. He runs off a trainer change to Rudy Rodriguez, 26% with new arrivals, and this 3yo is facing fellow New York breds in this spot.
3rd pick: #1 (Bourbon Did It) (5-1) - He has early speed and is cutting back in distance while switching from turf to dirt. He's been competitive in a pair of mile contests on the main track at Aqueduct going a mile and runs today as a NEW gelding.
4th pick: #5 (San Juan Diego) (12-1) - Longhsot showed good speed in both dirt sprints in 2017. He tired badly in his seasonal debut at Oaklawn Park Feb. 9, but is training above average, and colt has Luis Saez aboard for this attempt. May get a share at a very big price.
