Top pick: #5 (FEVERISH LOOT) (8-1) - Well bred 4-year-old is dropping back down in class, shortening up a furlong, and moving from turf to dirt. Stalker draws outside of the other pace and has a sold shot at a square price.
2nd pick: #2 (Mizner Park) (5-2) - He's working fast for his first since April 18th. Three-year-old went evenly that afternoon at Aqueduct, facing tougher in a contest that had a much better field than this. Trainer Gary Contessa has him spotted nicely and the rail is his for the taking at the break. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Brooklynville) (10-1) - Speedy sort is one of two entered by trainer Carlos Martin and the pair race un-coupled. Gelding set a very fast pace before tiring here going 7-furlongs on the turf for a $40K tag May 10th. Barn brings him back quickly, drops him back down, switches him to the dirt, and shortens him up a furlong. Nearing his best and he'll be a big price.
