Top pick: #2 (PEARLS FOR GIRLS) (6-5) - The probable favorite, filly pressed the pace and held gamely to finish 2nd on April 27 at Aqueduct racing at this level and distance. The winner of that contest returned ran well here yesterday in a follow-up outing and looks to have a bright future. This 4yo was racing off a 15 1/2 month layoff, she's worked fast since, and has Lasix added. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (All Luv Me) (3-1) - Speedy gret filly exits the same last race as "Pearl" and tired late after contesting the pace. Daughter of "Giacomo" was 3 1/2 lengths back of that rival and should be involved again today from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #4 (Don't Blame Her) (5-1) - She hasn't been seen since tiring badly in her debut last august 16 at Saratoga. She spent the wintyer training in Florida and had a sharp 5-furlong breeze here April 27. Barn (Danny Gargan) won with a returning maiden the other day, and it's noted that in her only start this filly faced some future stakes winners.
4th pick: #3 (On a Snowy Evening) (12-1) - Daughter of "Frost Fiant" has been on the sidelines since late Dec and makes her return with a new trainer(Abigail Adsit)and off of some sharp works. Stretch threat if ready.
