Top pick: #8 (DADDY LOVES GOLD) (3-1) - Daughter of "Scat Daddy" had a nice debut at Gulfstream going 7.5 furlongs around two-turns on March 10th. She broke on trip, set a quick and pressured pace, and held gamely to finish second of 10, beaten just under a length. Working well for this and her outside slot is a plus.
2nd pick: #6 (Braided) (8-1) - Price play raced evenly on a sloppy surface when debuting at Gulfstream on April 5th. Darley home-bred should enjoy the switc the the turf and she had a nice half-mile breeze here on May 4th.
3rd pick: #7 (Street Trick) (6-1) - She rallied to just miss at 27-1 when debuting in a grass sprint at Gulfstream on March 7th, then ran poorly as the favorite at Keeneland going a mile on April 6th. She had some serious traffic issues early in that one and must be given another chance.
4th pick: #1 (Barbie Wire) (4-1) - Filly by "Tapit" moves to the grass for the first time after a pair of strong efforts on the dirt. She did well despite having trouble at the break in each and is working nicely on the Saratoga training track for this attempt.
