Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (EMPRESS JINGU) (5-2) - One of two fillies making their debuts, she's been in steady training here since March 16. Her latest three drills are on the quick side, and trainer Todd Pletcher (19% first out) has Javier Castellano signed on.
2nd pick: #2 (Eighth Commandment) (8-1) - Daughter of 'Broken Vow' cost $150,000 as a yearling back in 2014. When debuting here April 30, she hit the side of the gate at the break and raced four-wide following that incident. Trainer Dave Donk brings this longshot back quickly, and his 'go to' rider (John Velazquez) stays aboard.
3rd pick: #5 (Judy's Fudge) (6-1) - Filly tired when debuting at Aqueduct at this level on a very muddy track April 7. Trainer Steve Asmussen (24% second time out) has worked her four times since and is adding blinkers (20%). The presence of Irad Ortiz, Jr. is duly noted.
4th pick: #1 (Young Anna Lee) (3-1) - Speedy filly tired after chasing the pace while wide at this level and distance April 13 at Aqueduct. It was her first since last summer when she ran 2nd in both local appearances. She moves from an outside post to the rail and should be involved from start-to-finish.
