Top pick: #3 (ENGLAND) (7-5) - He's lightly raced and enters off a career best when finishing second here at this tag going 6-furlongs May 1st. Race was his first off a Dave Jacobson claim and a subsequent eight week freshening and he should win this with just a bit more improvement.
nd pick: #5 (Giulio Cesari) (15-1) - Longshot has a speed/stalking style and has been competitive in two of his last three starts. He had to be sent hard in his latest after breaking from the rail and the move out in the gate is a plus.
rd pick: #4 (King Gettigan) (4-1) - Colt is another that enters off a career best when he finished third of six, beaten almost two lengths on April 27th. It was his first off a Gary Gullo claim and this son of "Read the Footnotes" must be left in the mix.
th pick: #7 (Dexter Cheesestake) (6-1) - He runs first off a Michelle Nevin claim (8 for her last 22 (36%))and lightly-raced gelding needs to improve for anything more than a minor award.
th pick: #6 (Wood On the Fire) (10-1) - He's getting the look of a professional maiden and has been losing ground on a consistent basis during the stretch run. May hang on for a small slice at long odds.
