Home bred tired at Aqueduct going a two-turn mile facing tougher March 24. It was his first race since early July and he's worked fast since. Trainer Chris Clement brings him back in a month and drops him into a claimer.
2nd pick: #3 (There Goes Ben) (7-2) - Strong finisher runs for the first time since Nov. 29th. Five of his first six starts have come on the grass, but he's been working sharply on both artificial and conventional dirt, and trainer Rudy Rodriguez has him in a claimer for the first time.
3rd pick: #7 (Holy Week) (8-1) - Long time maiden is the type that can 'run all day.' He's had traffic issues in his last pair and can factor today from 'off the pace' at a big price.
4th pick: #1 (Ezra) (5-1) - Even paced type moves up a bit in class after finishing 4th facing weaker on Aqueduct's inner surface March 26. He has the rail and is capable of getting a piece of this with a bit of improvement.
