Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (KERRY'S RING) (2-1) - A lightly raced home bred by 'Kitten's Joy,' she finished a pace setting 2nd of 11, missing by a 1/2-length here at this level going a mile May 19. 3yo is cutting back a furlong, has worked three times during June, and Joel Rosario stay aboard.
2nd pick: #1 (Dearly Declared) (3-1) - She clearly improved when trainer Barclay Tagg sent her to the grass in a pair of starts early in the year at Gulfstream Park. Stalker finished close up in each, they both came facing 'open' company, and she's in with fellow state breds in her first since Feb. 23. She has a nice series of works on view and is dangerous.
3rd pick: #3 (Honorable Rose) (8-1) - Longshot raced both wide and evenly last out when finishing 4.5 lengths in back of 'Kerry's Ring.' It was her first start in almost six months and trainer Jeremiah Englehart wins at a 24% rate second off of long layoffs.
4th pick: #4 (Runnin On Entry) (7-2) - Sent off at 20-1 when debuting here May 2, she rallied to miss by a 'neck' going seven furlongs at this level. On the sidelines for two months since, she must be left in the mix here.
