Premium Pick

Top pick: #2 (PRIMA STORM) (8-5) - The morning line favorite, he missed by a 1/2 length racing here at this level and distance May 31. It was his first back off a 2-month break and he's now been competitive in all of his starts. The horse to beat.

2nd pick: #4 (Stevie's Wonder) (5-2) - Dangerous foe, he showed some speed in a pair on the Gulfstream dirt this past winter. Freshened up since March 28, trainer George Weaver drops him in class while moving him to the grass. Working well at Saratoga and Castellano stays aboard.

3rd pick: #8 (Burndines) (5-1) - Gelding by 'Scat Daddy' was bet in both starts last year but showed little in each. On the sidelines since late Sept., he's been working above average at Fair Hill. Trainer Tony Dutrow drops him into a claimer for the first time (a 31% winning angle). If 3-year-old has any talent, it should come out against this group.

4th pick: #3 (Killer Whale) (12-1) - Long shot is training fast for his first since a rather poor debut on the Laurel dirt in late Nov. Grey colt is bred for the grass and may grab a share at a big price.
