Top pick: #4 (CHILTON) (6-1) - Price play races second back off a 7 1/2 month layoff, and he finished fourth of 12, beaten about six lengths while racing wide here at this level going seven furlongs May 27. It's nice to seem him return in four weeks, and there's lots of potential pace signed on to set up his late rally.
nd pick: #2 (Cross Gate) (3-1) - Lightly raced gelding goes first off a Carlos Martin claim, and he drops him in price and adds blinkers. Speedy sort is cutting back in distance, and should be involved from start-to-finish.
rd pick: #6 (One Smokin Cat) (10-1) - Very lightly raced, he ran a career best when breaking his maiden here on the dirt May 18. Race was his first in blinkers, and this son of "Read the Footnotes" moves to the grass for his first facing winners.
th pick: #5 (Sky Lover) (4-1) - One run type raced wide and evenly here last out, facing tougher going longer. Colt by "Sky Mesa" drops down and shortens up in distance for her seconnd off a Linda Rice claim.
th pick: #8 (Potus) (8-1) - Interesting longshot has been freshened up by trainer Bruce Levine since grey gelding raced evenly in the Aqu slop on April 12. All the speed is to his left, and that should lead to a comfortable trip 4-5 lengths off the lead. Stretch factor at a nice price.
