She was squeezed at the break and had a wide trip in her first race in 7.5 months. Heavily backed in all three outings, I like her chances.
2nd pick: #2 (Dearly Declared) (3-1) - On the sidelines since Feb. 23, she tired late after chasing the pace to check in fourth of 12, beaten 3.5 lengths that afternoon at Gulfstream facing 'open' company at this distance. Back in with fellow state breds, she has a fine series of works showing and veteran Barclay Tagg has Jose Ortiz aboard for the first time.
