Top pick: #6 (KEVIN'S STEEL) (10-1) - Longshot is racing third back following several layoffs and last out mare showed good early speed here at this trip facing better before tiring on May 16th. Daughter of turf champ "Artie Schiller" had some promise earlier in her career and it's nice to see her stringing starts together.
2nd pick: #10 (Race and Shine) (4-1) - On the sidelines since Jan. 1st, her best start came here Oct. 11 at this level and distance racing on this course. Working nicely for her return and she's a threat if ready.
3rd pick: #1 (Josie's Prospect) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, she's working well for her first since Nov. 16. Filly is clearly better on the turf and draws a ground saving post. Obvious contender, but may be over-bet a bit.
4th pick: #3 (Outer Orbit) (6-1) - Home-bred has some early speed and will be racing on the grass for the first time. Freshened up for the past three months, 4-year-old is by a very good turf sire "Western Expression."
5th pick: #5 (Zafiro Azul) (20-1) - She raced evenly while never involved, going 7-furlongs on the grass at this tag on May 3rd. It was her first race in just under three months and she could grab a share at a huge price with some improvement.
