Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (PRISONER'S DILEMMA) (5-2) - A lightly raced 4yo, she missed by a 'neck' at this level and distance April 10 at aqueduct. Only her second start, it was her first since Nov. 18 when she raced evenly when debuting in an 'off the turf' sprint. Well backed in both attempts, she gets a slight edge in a race where you should box your bets.
nd pick: #5 (Lead Guitar) (3-1) - One of six making their debuts, this daughter of 'Maclean's Music' sold for $200K as a Saratoga yearling back in Aug. of 2017. She has some very sharp works on view, including a bullet half-mile from the gate in :47.20 April 30 at Keeneland, best of 46 at the distance that morning.
rd pick: #9 (Andretta) (9-2) - Mare is now 5.5-years-old and is still in search of her maiden win. Home bred has finished second in 4-of-7 grass sprints and is 4-0-2-1 locally. Speed/stalker draws outside of the other front-end types and must be left in the mix.
th pick: #11 (Memories Eternal) (6-1) - She rallied to finish second here at this distance May 3 when facing $40K state bred claimers. Only her second start, it was her first on the grass and a nice move forward off her dirt debut. The 3yo moves up in class and is capable of getting a share.
th pick: #7 (J J Jen) (6-1) - She chased and held to finish fourth when debuting April 10 at Aqueduct. Home bred was 3.5 lengths behind 'Prisoner's Dilemma' that afternoon and should be a bit sharper with normal second-out improvement.
