Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (TILTINGATWINDMILLS) (8-5) - A lightly raced 4yo daughter of 'Kitten's Joy,' she's been competitive in all four starts. She missed by a length at this distance facing first-level allowance foes at Tampa Bay Downs Dec. 28 in her first start since an easy maiden win at Monmouth Park Oct. 13. The latest at Tampa saw her have traffic issues when beaten by two lengths Feb. 8. Freshened up by Chad Brown, he drops her into a claimer today for the first time, a 47% winning angle (14 for 30 in 2019-20).
2nd pick: #4 (Second Bite) (8-1) - On the sidelines since Feb. 16, this filly by 'English Channel' broke her maiden that day at the Fair Grounds for a $30K tag in a two-turn contest that was taken 'off the turf.' Claimed that afternoon by Philly Park regular Lou Linder, she has some early speed and could grab a share at a big price.
3rd pick: #10 (Alley to Cavalry) (6-1) - This New York-bred mare was competitive in five of six starts last year on this circuit. All came at or around this $30K tag, and she missed by no more than 3.5 lengths in each. 5yo has stalking ability and has been training steadily for her first since Nov. 10.
4th pick: #6 (Petalite) (10-1) - Another New York-bred, she broke her maiden going a mile on the main track at Aqueduct Jan. 9. In her follow up at this level, she tired late to miss by three lengths Feb. 20. 4yo was competitive in two of four on the grass in 2019, and her speed/stalking style can land her a share of this at a big price.
