Top pick: #6 (ELRAAZY) (8-5) - She looked like a seasoned pro when winning her debut here June 4. She had a tough inside post in a large field (11) and had to await running room turning for home. $330K daughter of 'Medaglia d'Oro' swung out at that point and closed strongly while being forced farther out. She was a 1/2 length winner and the top pair were 6 1/2 clear of the third place filly. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Jubilant Vision) (6-1) - The field's lone two-time winner, speed/stalker finished a distant second racing at this level June 17. It was her second back from almost a three-month layoff and first off a Dave Jacobson claim.
3rd pick: #1 (Predicate) (10-1) - One-run type finished a very distant third here at this level and distance May 30. It was her first since early October and was nothing more than a conditioning effort. She's worked fast since, has the rail, and 4-year-old has a fine local record 6-1-2-3.
4th pick: #2 (Manahatta) (8-1) - Lightly-raced filly has some early speed and tired after chasing the pace in the same May 30 race as 'Predicate.' It was her first in eight months and first outside of California. Can factor with normal second-back improvement.
