Top pick: #6 (PIQUE OUT) - Filly took some betting action when debuting here at this price tag going 6 furlongs on May 27th. Daughter of "Flashy Bull" was nervous before the starst and also in the gate and she rallied mildly up the inside to finish 4th. Trainer Bruce Brown has worked her three times since and will stretch her out to a mile for her second outing.
2nd pick: #9 (Classic Point) - Lightly-raced home-bred by "Flatter" goes turf to dirt and takes a big drop in class for trainer H. Allen Jerkens. She has blinkers added today and she had a big bullet half-mile breeze here just five days ago, presumably with the "hood" on.
3rd pick: #4 (Candelabra) - Filly takes a drop in price and trainer George Weaver will switch her from the turf to the dirt. Has some talent and is set up nicely by her barn.
4th pick: #7 (Sheila's Gold) - She showed nothing when debuting in a grass sprint facing state-bred special weights May 28th. Trainer Kate Feron drops her down in class and moves her to the dirt.
