Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (BIG BROWN CAT) (5-2) - A home bred daughter of 'Big Brown', she's won two in a row, has good early speed and breaks from the rail. The 3yo was an easy maiden winner going 5.5 furlongs facing 'open' $30,000 claimers Feb. 15 at Aqueduct. Given almost an eight week freshening, she won again at the 'Big A' this time against $30K fellow New York breds. Trainer Gary Gullo has her in a tougher spot, but think she can win this with her usual normal front running tactics.
2nd pick: #3 (Warren's Vengeance) (3-1) - A lightly raced daughter of 'Frost Giant', she's been competitive in all four starts and enters off a second place finish facing tougher April 14 at Aqueduct. It was her first following a claim by Linda Rice and filly is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Stabilize) (5-1) - She set a pressured pace before weakening to finish third, 3.5 lengths behind 'Warren's Vengeance' April 14 at Aqueduct. It was her first after a claim by Rob Atras and think she's a threat at a square price.
4th pick: #4 (Saratoga Style) (4-1) - She's dropping down in class while shortening up in distance. Never involved while extremely wide going a mile in a $100K stakes March 31 at Aqueduct, she won her previous start just below this level going 6.5 furlongs March 9. In the mix.
