Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (WICKED GRIN) (3-1) - Speedy son of 'Jimmy Creed' set a fast pace and held to finish second, missing by a length racing at this level and distance on the Aqueduct turf April 18. A career best, it came following a 5 month layoff and with the addition of Lasix. He's worked fast since and will be tough with just a slight move forward in his second back from the break.
2nd pick: #10 (Dove Shoot) (6-1) - Price play has been on the sidelines since August 9 at Saratoga. The 5yo has early speed, is working steadily, and trainer Michelle Nevin has John Velazquez aboard. A threat if ready.
3rd pick: #6 (Qian B C) (9-2) - He made up ground in the final 1/16th to finish third, only a bit less than a length in back of 'Wicked Grin' April 18 at Aqueduct. It was his first race since Nov. 22 and it's noted that he was a 'neck' better than that rival here Sept. 16. In the mix.
4th pick: #7 (The Sinner Is You) (15-1) - Longshot is one of two entered by trainer Chris Englehart and the pair race uncoupled. Well bred colt raced both wide and evenly when finishing 4th, beaten 5.5 lengths April 18 at Aqueduct at this level and distance. Only his second start, it was his first on the grass and a nice move forward off his dirt debut Feb. 17.
