2nd pick: #6 (Lonesome Fugitive) (5-2) - From the Chad Brown barn, this Irish-bred rallied to finish 2nd when debuting at this level and distance Jan. 26 at Gulfstream. Bet down to 8-5 favoritism that day, he's working steadily for Brown, who has won with 36 of 103 (35%) second time out since Jan. 1 of 2019.
3rd pick: #3 (Mr Jaggers) (10-1) - One of two entered by Bill Mott, this home-bred was competitive in both starts on the grass at Saratoga last summer. Away for 7.5 months, he raced evenly on the dirt at Gulfstream returning April 11. Back on the grass here, the colt may get a share at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Turn of Events) (8-1) - He ships from Gulfstream where he missed by a 1/2-length at this level going a mile May 2. The colt is capable, but he needs to pick it up some based on figures.
5th pick: #8 (Height) (10-1) - The second of the pair from Bill Mott, he's been idle since August when he showed some ability going seven furlongs on the dirt. Training steadily, he switches to the grass, and must be left in the mix.
