Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (MONEY MULTIPLIER) (7-2) - He's one of three entered by trainer Chad Brown and hey all race as separate betting interests. Five-year-old is racing third back following an eight month absence and he finished second in this stakes a year ago. Stalker has been sharp in both return starts, has a ground saving post, and he gets a slim edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Beach Patrol) (5-1) - Another of the Brown trio, he's spent his entire career on the turf and has gone 15-4-5-3 while banking just under $1.5M. He won the rich Arlington Million (G1) going 10 furlongs Aug. 12 and has finished close up in six straight G1 contests. He has more speed than most and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Oscar Performance) (3-1) - The main speed, the field's lone 3-year-old is facing older and 'saltier' foes for the first time. He's six-of-nine on the grass, and is a perfect three-for-three here at Belmont. When last in action, he scored by 2.5 lengths in the G1 Secretariat Stakes going 10 furlongs at Arlington Park Aug. 12.
4th pick: #4 (Sadler's Joy) (4-1) - He's the only horse entered who has won at this demanding 12 furlong distance and has done it three times. 'Long winded' type is in career best form and enters off a 1/2 length win at this distance at Saratoga in the G1 Sword Dancer Aug. 26. Must be left in the mix.
