Top pick: #8 (GRAND ARRIVAL) (8-1) - Price play was sharp when breaking his maiden at Saratoga on Aug. 31 in a nice move forward off his debut. Son of "Harlan's Holiday" is training very fast since and colt draws a nice outside post for this mile trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Havana) (7-2) - He was probably the most impressive 2-year-old maiden winner this year at Saratoga and this grey colt by "Dunkirk" earned a triple digit figure that afternoon. In the Pletcher barn, working nicely, and an obvious win candidate at a short price.
3rd pick: #7 (Strong Mandate) (3-1) - Son of "Tiznow" has won two in a row in impressive fashion and that includes an easy win at Saratoga on Sept. 2 in the (G1) "Hopeful." Working fast at Churchill for trainer Wayne Lukas and a big threat in this spot.
4th pick: #5 (Honor Code) (7-2) - Beautifully bred colt rallied from 15 lengths behind to win going away at Saratoga when debuting on a sloppy surface on Aug. 31. He's worked fine since and would benefit the most if the pace was fast and/or contested.
5th pick: #4 (Debt Ceiling) (10-1) - Longshot has won four of his five starts and has done so from both on and off the lead. Colt has won three stakes this year and comes off a career best at Delaware Park on Sept. 14.
