Top pick: #9 (LIL ZILLA) (3-1) - Lightly-raced filly raced evenly while extremely wide after breaking from a tough outside post (10th of 10) facing tougher at Saratoga just 13 days ago. Good small barn (Tom Morley) drops her back down
2nd pick: #5 (Fire Ship) (5-2) - Daughter of "Colonel John" has been competitive in all three turf starts and last out at Saratoga she ran second at this tag. Stalker fits and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Chrissy Girl) (7-2) - She was a bit hard to handle when facing tougher at Saratoga on Aug. 8. However, it was her first back off a year's layoff and she probably needed the start anyway. Trainer Bruce Levine drops her into a claimer for the first time and Castellano is back on the re-ride. Mare should contend today.
4th pick: #4 (Keep Right) (8-1) - Nicely bred fill has burned a lot of cash in her nine starts as she's been favored in five of those. Drops, goes dirt to turf, and she's stretching out in distance. Broman home bred by "Street Cry" showed some ability in her only previous grass attempt and it came facing better. Price play.
