Top pick: #5 (COMPLIANCE OFFICER) - He's in career best form at present and it's coincided with a claim by trainer Bruce Brown on May 14. Gelding is (4-for-4 since then) including stakes wins at Saratoga and here in hislast two starts. Working nicely, has a stalking style, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #11 (Karakorum Legend) - Another who's improved of late and this speed/stalker likes this surface (7-2-3-1). Draws a nice outside post for his style and should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #7 (Lubash) - Has the best early speed and last out finished a pace-setting in a $250K stakes at Phill Park. He's been handled by the top pick before, but his speed still makes him a bit dangerous.
4th pick: #8 (Straight Story) - He enters this in declining form, but is working fast, loves this course (10-4-4-0) and Domingues is aboard. Trainer Alan Goldberg has him set for a good effort at a nice price.
