Top pick: #2 (KNOCKOUT) - He's raced himself back into shape following a 7 month layoff and last out here he finished a close-up fourth at this price and distance in his first off a Dom Galluscio claim. Stalker catches a field with a lot of speed types and that will help his style out. Three-year-old by "Smart Strike" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Pernice) - He exits the same last race as our top choice and this veteran maiden made a strong middle-move before weakening late. Race was his first in 3 1/2 months and he'a a win candidate with a slight move forward.
3rd pick: #5 (Nykid Time to Jazz) - He showed little last out in the same race as the top two picks, but in his previous three starst was somewhat competitive facing fellow New York-breds at the special weight level. He'll be closing fast at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (Concorde County) - He has the best early speed of this field and Monmouth shipper has finished second in three of his five grass starts. Capable barn (Bruce Alexander) sends him here and he's a threat on the front-end.
