3rd pick: #2 (Byron's Pop) (8-1) - He had a very troubled debut on Aug 11th at Saratoga and was claimed that day by Dave Jacobson for $75K. Gelding is beautifully bred, his new trainer is leading this meet, and he wins at a 26% rate off the claim, and a 21% clip with blinkers added. Win candidate.
4th pick: #11 (Hard Fast Cash) (6-1) - He has some early speed and is racing for the first time since June 11th. Gelding by "Hard Spun" has been in with some tough fields and should factor today.
5th pick: #12 (Voter Turnout) (12-1) - Colt ran evenly following a troubled break when debuting in a grass sprint at Saratoga on Aug 11. Clamed that day by Jen Antonucci for $40K she brings him back off a two month freshening and moves him to the dirt.
