Top pick: #12 (MORE THAN LUCKY) - Claimed last Oct. by Rick Dutrow for $50K gelding ran well at this level and distance at Aqueduct fresh off the claim and has been on the sidelines for a half-year. Working steadily, he draws a good post for this distance and can take this at a nice price if ready.
2nd pick: #13 (Pacci Di Notte) - Improving with each start this 4-year-old gelding by "Prime Timber" finished second on this surface April 30 and will stretch-out a furlong this afternoon. Has a good post for his style and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Recipe) - Price play showed a hint of speed in two starts at Gulfstream and hs been freshened-up by trainer Angel Penna Jr. for the past 70 days. Faces fellow state-breds for the first time and that should make him more competitive.
4th pick: #5 (Rudy Rudy Rudy) - Clearly better on the grass, this gelding hasn't run since early Dec. but is working steadily for trainer Rudy Rodriguez, who wins at a 26% rtae off of long breaks. Three-year-old has good early speed and that makes him dangerous.
