Top pick: #1 (A BETTER TOMORROW) (9-5) - The probable favorite, he comes off a second-place finish here as the favorite racing at this level going a mile on April 26th. Solid effort came off a three month layoff and he's worked fast since. The horse to beat.

nd pick: #11 (Hudson Miracle) (4-1) - Lightly-raced gelding races second off a Chad Brown claim and a subsequent 70 day break. 4-year-old raced evenly in an "off the turf" contest at Aqueduct at this level on April 12th and has been working fast since. He needs one scratch in the main-body to get in off the A.E. list and is a threat if he runs.

rd pick: #6 (Mike and Rob) (5-1) - Gelding ships in from Keeneland where he raced evenly on the "poly" from a tough outside post for a $20K tag April 18th. The race was his first since July 7th and trainer George Weaver moves him to the grass and back in with New York-breds. 4-year-old has done well here in the past (3-0-2-1) and can factor with his best.

th pick: #2 (Papa Freud) (7-2) - He's gone (3-0-2-1) all on the grass since coming back from a 12 1/2 month layoff in early April. Speed/stalker is in shape, but meets a pretty "deep" field this afternoon.

th pick: #5 (Cash Your Ticket) (10-1) - He continues to race evenly and last out was 4 1/2 back of "Papa" at Aqu. on April 20th. He's been working fast since and it's a plus to see Cornelio Velasquez get aboard for this trip. "Live" longshot.
