Possibly the hottest barn in the country (Mike Maker) drops him slightly, moves him back to the turf, and shortens him up a furlong. He has Joel Rosario aboard and they win at a 40% clip when teamed-up.
2nd pick: #6 (Freight) (4-1) - Gelding cost $200K as a yearling and began his career in the barn of Bill Mott. He hasn't shown much to date, but is working sharply for his first since Feb. 22, the day he was claimed for $50K by Dom Galluscio. Drops, tries the grass, and if he has any ability he'll show it in this spot.
3rd pick: #1 (Fairy Snow) (15-1) - Longshot had an impossible post last (12th of 12) and tired while chasing the pace while racing very wide. Today he has the rail and gelding can factor at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (Moonshine Ridge) (6-1) - Speedy gelding finished a pace-setting second two back facing weaker on Aqueduct's inner-surface, then tired badly in a follow up start. On the shelf since March 9th, well-bred 4-year-old is working fine and goes dirt to turf.
