Top pick: #2 (APTPHILLY) - Unraced since finishing 3rd as the favorite in early Sep at Saratoga, she's working nicely for her return and is in a good barn (Jimmy Jerkens). She has positional speed and is near the inside. Gets the call in a competitive contest.
2nd pick: #8 (Eden is Burning) - She has the best early speed and tired last out after opening a big lead at this level and trip May 27. Race was her first in 8 1/2 months and she probably needed it badly. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #11 (Bazinga) - Claimed in March by Steve Asmussen she's finished 2nd in both starts for the new barn and they've come here at this trip. The probable favorite, but this post doesn't help her chances.
4th pick: #6 (Notell) - 4yo filly by "Quiet American" hasn't raced since last August at Saratoga where she tired as the favorite to finish 5th of 9 at this level going two-turns. She'll race today off a trainer change to "Hall of Famer" Jonathan Sheppard and can impact if ready.
