Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (ROZIERE) (3-1) - When last in action on Nov. 17 at Aqueduct, he rallied into a soft pace to finish 2nd of 10, missing by almost two lengths. It was a career-best, his first in a claimer, and he has a fine series of works showing for his return.
2nd pick: #4 (Courted) (6-1) - This longshot raced both wide and evenly when going a mile at Gulfstream Park facing $40K 'open' claimers May 8. Only his second start, it was his first since tiring badly when debuting here Sept. 22 at seven furlongs on the dirt. Working fast for this attempt, he's back in fellow state-breds and is a win candidate at a square price.
3rd pick: #10 (Topaz Bride) (5-2) - The morning-line favorite, she's dropping into a claimer for the first time in her first since Dec. 19. Competitive in her only previous grass attempt, she's an obvious contender at a short price.
4th pick: #2 (Wall Eye) (8-1) - This home-bred by 'Quality Road' tired when debuting against tougher in a Saratoga grass sprint Aug. 2. The race had a strong field, and this filly is capable of factoring at a good price if ready off a very long layoff.
