Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (EL TALENTO) (3-1) - One of two entered by Todd Pletcher, and the pair race uncoupled. This lightly raced home bred by 'Big Brown' has been freshened up since May 28 when he was beaten by a 'nose' here at this level going six furlongs on the grass. Colt earned a big figure then, and speed/stalker may have a bright future. Gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #8 (White Flag) (9-2) - Large colt looked beaten last out but rallied strongly to break his maiden going six furlongs. Improving son of 'War Front' comes back a month later and gets an additional furlong to travel.
rd pick: #12 (Mr Meister) (8-1) - Another that's lightly raced, he raced both wide and evenly here going a mile June 7. Beaten by just over three lengths, it was his first race since breaking his maiden at Gulfstream Park Dec. 4. His post is of no help as he likes to come from behind, but 3yo should receive a fast and/or contested pace to rally into.
th pick: #9 (Mineralogy) (15-1) - Very fast from the gate, gelding is racing on the grass for the first time. Working fast on the Saratoga training track turf course, he may factor at a big price.
th pick: #5 (Air Vice Marshall) (6-1) - One of the most expensive yearlings ever purchased, this colt by 'War Front' coast $2,200,000 back in Sept. of 2014. Now a 4yo, he's racing third back from just under a year's layoff, and this once promising runner can impact with his best.
