Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (BOURBON DID IT) (5-2) - He's dropping down after tiring facing tougher going 7 furlongs March 24 at Aqueduct. It was his first facing winners after he broke his maiden there at this distance for a $40K tag facing fellow state breds Feb. 1. Stalker is nicely spotted and I like his chances.
2nd pick: #10 (Curlin Creek) (3-1) - Well bred 4yo drops down and shortens up after finishing third for a $25K tag going 7 furlongs April 17 at Aqueduct. Competitive in three straight, he's a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Laura's Posse) (6-1) - Speedy and lightly raced 4yo set the pace and held gamely to miss by just under a length April 7 at Aqueduct at this level and distance. It was a career best and he should be in this from start-to-finish at a square price.
4th pick: #8 (Change of Venue) (9-2) - He's been competitive in three straight at this level and runs today following a private sale and a trainer change to Rob Atras 6-of-17 (41%) with new arrivals to his barn. A fast and/or contested pace would help his chances.
