Top pick: #7 (SCHOODIC) (3-1) - One of a pair entered by trainer Jack Fisher and the pair race uncoupled. This still improving 4-year-old gelding by "Tiznow" enters off a good-looking win at Saratoga in a $75K stakes over the jumps Aug. 14. He gets a slight edge in a deep field.
nd pick: #8 (Address Unknown) (4-1) - English import has really taken to the jumps since switching to hurdle racing this past May. He's gone 3-2-1-0 since then and last out at Saratoga he finished second to "Schoodic." Speedy sort should be involved from start-to-finish.
rd pick: #2 (Syros) (5-1) - The second of the Fisher pair, he was a winner of an allowance over the jumps at Saratoga Aug. 18 and thought he looked like the winner every step. He won a 12-furlong turf race here June 15th and gelding by "Dynaformer" is in the win mix.
th pick: #6 (Allthe Way Jose) (5-2) - The field's wild card, he's very lightly-raced, his form is on the upswing, and was bred and is trained by Hall of Famer Jonathan Sheppard. Gelding has a ton of potential and plenty of room for upside.
th pick: #3 (Chloral Society) (6-1) - No-speed type is another thats quickly made a successful transition to the jumps and has gone 3-2-0-1 since then. The type that can run all day, and he's a late threat.
