Top pick: #2 (ALDRIN) (2-1) - He was reported to be a talented runner before his debut at Saratoga July 26th. Unfortunately, he drew the Pletcher colt "Competitive Edge" who went on to a ten length win and came right back to take the G1 "Hopeful" there over Labor Day weekend. Working fast since, $1,000,000 son of "Malibu Moon" should be much sharper at this mile distance.
2nd pick: #4 (Money Changer) (9-5) - Grey colt stretches out in distance after missing by a "head" at Saratoga, going 6.5-furlongs Aug. 16. Trainer Todd Pletcher has worked him twice since and son of "Exchange Rate" is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Rimbaud) (15-1) - Darley home bred raced evenly when debuting going 6-furlongs at Saratoga on Aug. 2. He's worked four times since and trainer Tom Albertrani will stretch him out in distance and do so with Lasix added.
