Top pick: #7 (SUCCESSFUL BROTHERS) (5-2) - Gelding was one of three entered for the main track only and trainer Rudy Rodriguez gets his wish. Speed/stalker races first off a Rodriguez claim (29%) and this 4-year-old by "Invasor" has gone 5-0-3-1 on "off" tracks in the past. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Indian Nobility) (3-1) - Another of the "main track only" runners, he was a winner for this tag Aug 16th at Saratoga going 7-furlongs and he was claimed that day by Dave Jacobson. New barn is having a great meet and wins at a strong 26% rate first off the claim. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Jigsaw) (6-1) - Lightly raced colt is going turf to dirt and dropping in class. He won on Aug 22nd at Saratoga racing on a "sloppy" surface and that makes him a threat.
4th pick: #6 (Mack Miller) (5-1) - The third of the "main track only" horses, he raced poorly here last out but the field was much stronger than this. One run type was a winner racing on a "sloppy" track at Saratoga July 27th so you know he can handle it "wet". In the mix.
