Colt was near the pace and held gamely under pressure to check in two lengths in back of that rival. $260K purchase is training fast for trainer Todd Pletcher (29% second time out). Dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #4 (Avail Ekati) (5-1) - Lasix is added to $500,000 colt who raced both wide and evenly when debuting here going 6.5 furlongs Sept. 17. Well backed that day, he came back with a bullet five-furlong breeze Oct 5. He has the best chance of a minor upset.
