Colt runs second back from a seven week break, is working above average, and trainer Rudy Rudy Rodriguez is 12-of-41 (29%) at this meet.
2nd pick: #4 (Mr Sam) (5-1) - Very lightly-raced 3-year-old is racing first off a Danny Gargan claim (21%) and gelding by 'Harlan's Holiday' is making back-to-back starts for the first time. Competitive in his first pair, think he's a strong factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #7 (Apollo Eleven) (7-2) - On the sidelines since late December, he has a new trainer (Tom Morley) Capable barn drops him into a claimer for the first time and this 4-year-old has races in the past that make him dangerous if ready.
4th pick: #3 (Foggy Mountain Cat) (9-2) - The main speed, he set the pace before weakening to check in third Sept. 4 at Saratoga. Colt was only a 'nose' behind 'There Goes Ben' that day and is clearly improving. His early speed makes him a threat.
