Top pick: #6 (ATLANTIC DREAM) (6-1) - Price play from the Pletcher barn runs second back off almost a seven month break and in her return start at Saratoga she raced wide before tiring after breaking from a tough outside post. She was in fine form last winter at Gulfstream and has been training fast for this attempt. Stalker gets the call in today's opener.
2nd pick: #5 (Poster Girl) (5-2) - Daughter of "War Front" has finished second in two stright and is working fast for her first race in two months. Strong finisher is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Callana) (7-2) - Filly by "Dynaformer" is one of two entered by trainer Bill Mott and the pair race uncoupled. Home-bred has been competitive in three of her four starts, has a speed/stalking style, and draws a nce outside post.
4th pick: #3 (Toy Land) (12-1) - The second of the Mott fillies, she tired after showing fine early speed here on Sept. 14 in her first since debuting at Gulfstream on Jan. 13. She's worked fast twice since and will be making back-to-back starts for the first time.
