Top pick: #5 (NICE STUFF) (7-2) - Mare is career best form at present after a pair of back-to-back sharp effots at Saratoga. Stalker fits at this level, has a fine local record 10-2-2-2, and there's plenty of speed signed on to help her style out.
2nd pick: #6 (Insolvent) (9-2) - Lightly-raced and speedy, daughter of "Big Brown" moves back to the grass after she finished a pace-setting second here at this level on the dirt 10 days ago. Grey filly was running freshe off a Dave Jacobson claim that day and is a threat on the front-end.
3rd pick: #3 (Sunrise Kitty) (3-1) - Lightly-raced filly ships up from Monmouth where she missed by a neck racing for a $40K tag on Sept. 14. Excellent effort came off almost a half-year's absence and she comes from a winning barn (Jay Servis).
4th pick: #8 (Strategic Mission) (4-1) - Veteran mare has been freshened up since Aug. 16 when she raced evenly facing a bit weaker at Saratoga. New York-bred has many efforts in her past that put her in this if repeatable.
