Top pick: #7 (KEVIN'S KOOL KAT) (8-5) - The probable favorite, she's finished second in 7 of 15 lifetime starts and did so here at this tag going 7-furlongs on May 18th. Stalker draws a nice outside post and has done well at this mile trip in the past.
2nd pick: #6 (Fancy 'n Flight) (9-5) - One-run type has been competitive in four straight but her best "figs" are a bit light compared to "Kevin." However, in this rather poor group she must be left in the mix.
3rd pick: #5 (Unafraid) (15-1) - Longshot has some speed, is lightly raced, and gets the addition of blinkers for this attempt. A bullet half-mile drill here on May 6th suggests that a competitive effort is coming.
4th pick: #4 (Pari Nath) (12-1) - She has a bit of speed but has yet to finish better than third in 15 career starts. A small slice at a big price would appear to be her ceiling.
