2nd pick: #1 (Scare City) (7-2) - One of two taking a sizeable drop, but earlier this year he was defeated racing at this tag. Gelding by "City Zip" has the rail, good gate speed, and races with blinkers on. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Golden Nugget) (5-1) - No-speed type showed nothing here at this tag in a contest that was switched off the turf May 2nd. It was his first since finishing second at Gulfstream on Feb. 13 and trainer Lisa Lewis has him making back-to-back starts for the first time since late last year. Stretch threat.
